About Susan

Biography:

Susan McDonald has been working with ink and watercolours on paper since the 1980’s, and her work has been included in galleries in Toronto, Northumberland, Peterborough, and here on the Bruce.

She is inspired by the greater themes of life (such as love and loss) and by the movement of ink and watercolour on paper.  Her work invariably includes trees that catch the essence of personality, or the fluid aspects of nature around her.  She lives on the banks of the Sauble River and is entertained by beavers and otters!
